Vintage Gwen Chapel-Living For Today

Today's Chapel  is compliments of my Dad.  Last Sunday during worship God gave Daddy a revelation that I thought was pretty awesome and spoke to me.  And I hope it speaks to you too.
We have a projector that we use during of the backgrounds had 3 crosses on it.  God showed Daddy that we live between two crosses...on one side there's yesterday...the past.  We can't change it but yet sometimes it's hard get over or let go of certain things in our past.
On the other side is tomorrow...the future.  We worry about what may or may not happen.
But God wants us to just live for today...the now.
Psalm 118:24 KJV
"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
{Daddy quotes the scripture to himself everyday!}
What Jesus did on the cross takes care of our yesterday and our tomorrow.  As well as our today!!
God doesn't want us worrying about anything...not one that we can focus on the present and make the most of it.
Matthew 6:27 NIV
"Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Let's remember this...
Philippians 4:19 NIV
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Amen!

Don't know about you but there's new meaning to the 3 crosses!
Have a Happy Halloween Weekend!

Jennifer I love it! I agree about new meaning to the 3 crosses. I am going to share this with our kids. I'm so happy you shared! We are having our 2nd Annual Mango Fall Camp out and have tweenagers running everywhere, but it's so fun! Just might use this as our nighty night devotional. Thanks again! xoxo, Clydia
