Vintage Gwen Chapel-Chapel Resurrected

I have some confessions to make.  I've been avoiding my usual Saturday post.
When I started this blog I knew that one a day out of the days I post I wanted it to be a devotion type post.  If I'm going to be a blogger, I want to be real and what is real is that I'm a Christian, have been since the 7th grade.  Another thing that is real is that I'm not a perfect Christian and though I'm not liking it right now I feel as if I'm a dry Christian.  As if I'm in a season of winter.  Don't we all go through seasons? I think we do.  And the important thing to remember is that we go through. It's not always winter.
If I could sum up in one word my favorite thing about the blogging community it would be inspiration.  I use that word a lot here, because I want this blog to represent a source of inspiration in not only crafting, baking, entertaining, etc., but more importantly in how I make it as a Christian, how we can all make it.
Another reason I was avoiding posting is that it's probably the least viewed post of the week.  Which is ok but can be discouraging at times.  I'm sure there's analyzing and adjusting that could be done to boost views which I'll think about doing.  My main focus is making sure it's good content. Right? Isn't that the bottom line? And perhaps that's the problem...maybe not.
I'll continue to share the nuggets God gives me and let Him handle it.
But I did find something that was encouraging and inspired me to make my confessions.
 And resurrect my Chapel post.

Joyce may very well be an angel! I had to choke back tears when I saw this.
"Inspirational stories"...yes!! I'm striving for that!
Thank you Joyce.  Look at that...the power of a pin.
So as I celebrate Resurrection Sunday, I'm taking a cue from the Lord and resurrecting Chapel.
After all, Jesus didn't quit so why should I?
Amen.

Wishing you and your families the best Easter ever!

Jennifer,
We can never go wrong by proclaiming our love for the Lord.
You never know when that ONE person who needs to hear God's word will read your blog.
Please don't give up. Like you said, let Him handle it. Just let Him use you.
Blessings, Shelia
