Soiree Day-Vintage Carnival 1st Birthday

Happy Tuesday!
I hosted our church's ladies meeting Friday night and I tell ya, I wore myself out getting the house ready! I really think it's the excessive heat we are having! I started the day out by doing the touch up paint on the outside of the house and felt like I was on one our Mission Trip's to Mexico! Sheesh!  So I took me a little break!  All is well now!
I found the loveliest Vintage Carnival 1st Birthday while browsing Someday Craft's link party last week and am excited to share it today!

True loveliness! This soiree is a great example of  DIY planning and using what you have. Or what your mother has! I  really love how it turned out!  Be sure and visit Lauren's blog for more pictures and party resources!

Soiree Day-Vintage, Woodsy Baby Boy Shower

Today I'd like to show you a one of a kind baby boy shower.  The typical blue, blue/brown boy showers are cute don't get me wrong but it's always exciting to see people take the typical to the next level and that's exactly what Lindsey of Out of Alabaster did for her sister!

Look at the invitations....such talent!

Love the use of succulents as centerpieces, vintage paper details through out and that frame from Ikea!! Why can't there be an Ikea near me?

Do you see the Mustache Cake Pops in wheatgrass? So fun!! And how about that Baby Bingo card?

And how cute to get to take home your very own baby succulent?

Such great details to this shower!!  And Lindsey has a great blog too!

Soiree Day-Vintage Kitchen Shower

I can not wait for you to see this awesome bridal shower I found!! It's two of my favorite things...vintage and unique!!  This Vintage Kitchen Shower is compliments of Alicia of La Famille, who I might add, has a unique blog as well!

Guests dressed up like June Clever! How fun!!  Alicia used vintage aprons, dishes, and linens to set the tone.
The classic cookies in a jar were perfect favors!

How about that cupcake stand?!  I love it! And the banner is made out of vintage sheets!! So clever!

This was a twist on the tp bridal gown game!!  Sheer fabric and embellishments were provided to design a gown on a dress form!! Now that's how to make a fun game better!!

There's tons more photos for you to smile over!

Soiree Day-Vintage Red Scooter Party

So I'm not gonna lie...I found THE cutest boy birthday party!  You know I adore unique things and this one is definitely that!
I found this soiree through the Hostess with the Mostess site and I love that this came from a mom blogger!
Laurie of Gallamore West is one creative lady!
You must see!

Love the vintage scooter as a cake topper!!

The party was soon after the Japan earthquake. This party favor is probably the best idea ever!  It's a favor with a purpose! I say Bravo!
One of the activities...a clever way to keep with the scooter theme!
And this is my favorite detail of the party......
....doesn't get any more unique than this!!!  I ♥ it!!

Go check out the entire party!!
