Surely I'm not the only one who likes having an eyeglass accessory arsenal? Since I've got too dry of eyes for contacts I'm having fun with having a few choices of frames to accessorize with! Chic Couture-Firmoo Glasses Review

I've been wanting to try a pair of brown frames without the nose pincher's for a while now so when Firmoo contacted me to do a review  I was excited!!  I have a pair of their sunglasses that I absolutely love! Oh and hey...notice anything else different? New hair!! No more blonde on top and I went shorter! Which is taking some getting used to, I can't ever fix it like my stylist does! Who can really?

Firmoo Sunnies Review!

Sunnies season is upon us!

 And if you're like me and have to have prescription sunglasses then a great place to shop is Firmoo.

Chic Couture-Nubar Review

About 2 weeks ago Birchbox posted on their Facebook page a review of topcoats.  Someone commented on that post that they'd stick with their Nubar Diamont.  As you know, I enjoy painting my nails.  But it's hard for me to keep a manicure good for 3 days or more.  I know about Seche Vite but don't like that it has toluene.  So when I saw the comment about Nubar I searched it out and it had a lot of good reviews and was toluene free! So I bought the Diamont topcoat and their base coat from Amazon and gave it a try!

And the results were great!!

I painted my nails Saturday night before bed and they lasted until Wednesday without a chip! 4 days!! I have never got that before with Sally (sorry bout ya girl!) I've used Julep's Freedom topcoat but it hasn't lasted 4 days yet.

And these were taken Thursday afternoon.  Wednesday evening I noticed a small chip on my right pointer but look at my ring, pinkie, and thumb fingers! They're all still pretty good! I am impressed!

Now I didn't clean house because I was waiting until today (hubby's been gone and I wanted the house to be it's cleanest for his return!)  but I did do dishes and bath time and I put a bookshelf together on Tuesday!

And once the chips got going it did come off in chunks and I found I could peel the polish right off.  I don't know if that's bad or good.  But as far as finding a topcoat that lasts longer than 2-3 days I am well pleased!  If, after using it more, anything changes I'll let ya know!

Vintage Gwen Chapel-30 Words Book Review

I have another book review today! 

Some how or another I stumbled upon Jarrid Wilson and his 30 Words Book on Instagram. More than likely it was because I was looking through the She Reads Truth hashtag. Yes I am a hashtag creeper! 

What else is a hashtag for? 

30 Words is a devotion that takes a word about God and our relationship with Him and studies it out for a day.  So there's 30 different words, scriptures and Jarrid's take on the daily word. I loved this concept.  It's concise. I like devotions as opposed to 'self help' Christian books....I know they are good for you but it's hard for me to stay with it and finish it out.  With 30 Words, because Jarrid shared his insights, I kinda felt like I was reading one of those 'self helps'. I'm ready for another 30 Words actually!
