Chic Couture-Beauty Gift Picks

Happy Friday!

Who's got their Christmas shopping done yet? Not me!

I rounded up some beauty gift ideas and a few of them might be on my wishlist!

1. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette $52

This just came out and oh my!

The Naked and Naked 2 palettes are good so I don't think you could go wrong here!

2. Juicy Couture Deluxe Mini Coffret $49.50

Juicy is one of my favorite fragrances....any of them really so a sampling of all is perfect!

I just think you can never go wrong with fragrance!

3. Julep Cara Nail Polish $14

I waited for this color to be back in stock so I could add it to my December box! It's a Cranberry Frost that's bright and fun for Christmas! (Or any time!)

4. Benefit Rockateur Blush $28

I think this rose-gold shade is just lovely! Besides, who wouldn't want to be a Rockateur?

5. Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Take Me There Set $18

This smells divine!! And getting a fragrance, lotion and lip tint for the price is awesome! You almost could get one for yourself too!

Did you know: This brand is sold at Target, not just online!

Chic Couture-Daily Deal Sites

Ah...a good deal. We all love them! Sometimes it's just down right good for the soul to get out and be a hunter. But there's an element of thrill hunting over the computer too! Especially when you didn't have to get gussied up or have kids in tow!

I recently splurged a little on myself and partook of an online deal. It was so good I shared it on Vintage Gwen's Facebook page and had a friend join me in the partaking. And through excited-about-our deal conversation I let her know about some other sites that offered goodies too. And thought I'd share the sites with you! These sites are mainly for accessories but offer other fun stuff too!

Chic Couture-Online Shopping!

I've been shopping this week! Online that is! I admit I like to shop. But. When you add a 2 year old boy to shopping well...it's more challenging and makes you just plain ole tired! And I'm talking about 'retail therapy', not 'let's get in a buggy and browse around' shopping. Thank goodness for the internet right?!

So with Christmas cash in the bank my first stop was Sephora...

I could not believe they had this in stock!! I'm becoming an Urban Decay addict I'm afraid!!

Next stop was to TOMS...

Thought a nice semi sparkly neutral would be fun to have!

And lastly Old Navy...

I haven't bought clothes from Old Navy in awhile. I thought I'd give it a shot, these items were all in their sale section. I'm excited to try these out!! I have some new brown suede boots that I want to try skinny jeans out with...we'll see since I'm not skinny! Ha! Oh and if you were wondering my total purchase was $139.71, that's with tax and free shipping. How'd I do? And I needed new bras, got those yesterday...Lane Bryant is having buy 2 get 2 free. Which leaves me with enough money to buy some new tunes!! I might just have to pat myself on the back when all is said and done! ☺

Chic Couture-Dream Shopping

Yay for Friday!! All my Christmas decor is out and Lil' Hunkie is loving it!

Of course there's still things to be done like Christmas cards and making my gift list. I'm just not sure what to put on that list!! I want some big ticket items and I'm thinking it would just be pointless! And then there's always clothes....I always think 'I need new clothes' especially now that that specific need for my self has been put on the back burner since I get to stay at home.

There's 2 online plus size boutiques that I adore their merchandise but just haven't been able to purchase anything yet. $100 just doesn't go very far any more!

So today I'm dream shopping..if I had a wad of cash I'd go crazy at these places!!

Show & Tell-Shabby Apple

A lot of you probably already know what Shabby Apple is. I had seen ads on several other blogs and had wondered about it just never got around to clicking. Then a couple weeks ago I was contacted by a rep to be an affiliate and boy was I excited!! I still feel kinda new at blogging so I was happy!

I looked around their site first to make sure I wanted to go forward and wanted to share the reasons why I like the Shabby Apple.

1. Their motto.

"A return to what dresses were always meant to be — a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything...no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!)."

I currently do this...add a sweater or jacket to dresses, I don't ever wear anything sleeveless. And I love to wear dresses, especially to church. I dig their motto!

I ♥ Etsy-Tea Party Pendants

Over the weekend, my mother and I loaded up Lil' Hunkie and went to a craft show here in town. I was a little excited since I hadn't been to one in a while and wanted to do some scoping out...you know get some inspiration!

Well no such luck on the inspiration but we did meet a very nice man selling his wife's glass tile pendants. And through conversation, they of course have an Etsy shop, Tea Party Pendants.
