Today I thought I'd share some of my Christmas crafts of past. Actually, majority of them are ones I received as gifts in college. Us college friends would have a Christmas party and exchange gifts and majority of the time they were crafted gifts. And as I'm typing I'm realizing that what I'm going to show today is just the tip of the iceberg!! I have a lot of Christmas decor!! I can't put it all out because our house isn't big enough!! It didn't help being the Home Department Manager at Dillard's or working at a gift shop in Tulsa known for it's Christmas decor either!! Ha!
I'll start with a few things I made last year...
Christmas Rosette Pillows
The smaller square pillow is actually made out of a bandanna from Hobby Lobby!
Christmas Rosette Necklace
This is a necklace and bracelet just hooked together and then I added the flowers.
Made this for my Hairdresser. ☺
Now for the past pretties...
Jarred Ornament
I actually saw this in a Christmas craft magazine I think from Better Homes & Gardens...I think.
I loved the use of the jar! And this was when these jars were not popular so I had to look and look at antique stores for them!
How To:
Paint lid if necessary.
Puncture two holes in top of lid.
Pour in Epsom Salts.
Knot ribbon onto ornament, loop through holes of lid, tie into bow.
Screw on lid.
Easy as pie!
Lighted Pine Cone Basket
This was made for me by a dear family friend. I've had it since high school days.
I have had to replace the bow, but that's it!
And finally some college friend gifts!! As I put this together today I realized that all of these were made by the same awesome, talented friend!
Christmas Card Mailbox
Pole Tree
Fence Snowman
Can Snowman
Lighted Snowman
These are truly some of my favorite Christmas decor items!
I'm thankful I have them and the memories that they hold!
I'm excited to be starting Truth in the Tinsel Advent with Lil' Hunkie today and we're getting our Elf on a Shelf today too!! More about those to come!
Don't forget about the Special Christmas Soiree Project #3 coming up on Monday! Time to capture Christmas or Christmas memories with photography!! You won't want to miss what I'm sharing!
