Happy Friday!!
Happy Veteran's Day!
Happy Birthday to my baby bro!
And
Happy Anniversary to me and Hunkie!! It's a jam packed day!!
4 years ago I got to marry my promise from God. My how time has flown by! I still remember the day....a wonderful day! Today, for Chic Couture, I thought I'd share my wedding dress. It wasn't designer, it wasn't trendy...it was classic...it was me. There were certain criteria I wanted my dress to have, you know because there's certain things about my body that I did not want to be accentuated! I wanted sleeves, I wanted A line and I wanted lace. I only tried on 2 dresses and the 1st one was it!
It was an A line, sweat heart neckline
dress with a short sleeved lace over coat.

Let's start with 2 of my favorite photos from my Bridal sitting....
Since we had a fall wedding I took the opportunity with my Bridal sitting to incorporate my favorite color. And I didn't go all crazy with hair and makeup....as advised by my best friend..."you want to look classic".
And now a few shots...4 years ago! ☺
It was slightly nerve racking to come down those stairs!! I did it without my shoes on! They were at the bottom with my Dad and my bouquet! ☺
As far as jewelry went, I wore my mother's pearl bracelet. And my earrings were my Grandmother's (my mom's mom)...they were the screw on kind, they were sparkly and I added teardrop shaped pearls so they'd be dangley a little bit. And of course I wore this...
And since you can see part of my bouquet, I honored my Dad's mom with it. She grew tiger lilies in her yard so it was a mix of those and roses. I had a picture frame charm with her photo in it wrapped around the stems.
We live 10 minutes from where we got married right now!!
And there you have it! My Wedding Dress.
If I get the chance {since I get to spend the day with Hunkie while Lil' Hunkie plays with his awesome auntie}
I'll be linking up here:
