Vintage Gwen Chapel-The In Between

The changing of the seasons have been on my mind a lot lately.  Some love summer, others love fall.  I tend to favor spring and fall, they seem to be just the right temperature for me! So in my pondering of the new season we are about to embrace, I discovered that what I really like is the in between period of seasons.
Think about it....it's a knowing that new is coming and the mundane is done with.  Some people could stay in one season, not me.  Just as in our spiritual walk we need seasons.  Stuff needs to die and new life needs to be birthed.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, NIV
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."

Seasons bring change, change that we need or else we might go crazy, having never experienced a new season.  New.  Who doesn't like new?
The in between, for me, is like a cheerleader, cheering on the new season and getting me excited that it's coming!
I say welcome new season.  And thank you Lord that You have made seasons for every "matter or purpose" (as in the Amplified Bible) that we face.  For who Lord wants to stay in a season of trial?  Praise You for the season of victory! Actually, praise You for both! For we can not have one without the other nor could we learn perseverance or long suffering or gain wisdom.
God knew what He was doing when He created the seasons and the in between!

Have a great weekend!
